Toray Fluorofibers (America), Inc. (TFA)
TFA Joins the National Safety Council Congress & Expo

Toray Fluorofibers (America), Inc. is pleased to be showcasing some of its toughest and heartiest products at the upcoming National Safety Council (NSC) Congress & Expo. The trade show will take place in Indianapolis next month, with the Congress being held September 23–29 and the Expo running September 25–27. TFA will be exhibiting at the Expo as part of the Toray Industries booth. TFA will lead its safety display with Bogu™, a resilient fabric used to make shielding, protective coats for workers in foundries and smelting environments. Bogu™ is indeed a shield—it’s named after the Japanese word for “armor” and lives up to the name. It helps create one of the essential garments for workers who need molten splash protection and is relied on for being long-lasting, incredibly tough and thermally durable. A sample coat made using Bogu™ will be shown at the Toray booth, along with other Toray materials used to help protect industrial workers. Those include LIVMOA™ (chemical-protective wear), Brianstar™ (safety clothing made for construction and road maintenance workers) and SV.Tech (incredibly strong fibers well-suited for protective wear like cut-resistant gloves).
